Cullen spent two years working in a substance abuse clinic where he developed great passion for working with clients suffering from addiction and substance abuse problems. He wrote his dissertation on alcohol use among college-aged individuals. Cullen’s training and familiarity with substance abuse issues allows him to come from a place of intuition, experience, and training when treating those suffering from substance abuse problems. Cullen approaches clients using an integrated approach. He incorporates Cognitive Behavioral methods and a narrative perspective empowering his clients through collaboration, allowing them to feel a sense of hope and purpose that is often missing. Cullen believes in fostering and promoting personal growth and healing where the past, present and future are addressed so that one can live a more fulfilling life.
